5 Ways Taking High Quality Multivitamins Changed My Health

At one time I used to think that I don’t need a multivitamin as I eat very healthy and I include plenty of superfoods in my diet. Plus, I never actually felt a real difference when I did take multivitamins. This I noticed withing the first two weeks of taking the multivitamins. It was the first thing I noticed along with a general sense of more wellbeing. I was really surprised. Throughout the day my energy remains much more consistent. Instead of crashing and burning mid afternoon, I remain much more high every, alert and clear minded.

2. Clear skin and healthier hair

This has been a progressive change. Within the first month of me taking these multivitamins, people were commenting on how I was glowing and asking what I was doing different. How To Maintain Your Gut Health While You Travel

It is no secret that keeping a healthy gut while you travel can be quite the feat. From airplane food to the uncertainty of food quality abroad and all the foreign germs in between. Our micro domes in our guts can sometimes become very unhappy with us. Introduce something that doesn’t belong and a serious revolt can happen faster than a blink of the eye.

With digestive issues and illnesses looming around every corner when travelling, it is important to not only be ready to treat it should it so arise, but to also take preventative measures, as to avoid it at all costs if possible. Plus, you will have a much more enjoyable travel experience without any gut setbacks.

Our bodies are introduced to so many different foods and germs while travelling, and our immune systems tend to also be compromised which makes it easier to have issues.

Here are a few tips to help keep your gut in tip-top shape and happy while exploring the world.

Always have probiotics on hand.

Preferably probiotics that made for on the go. I love this one from Usana. They come in convenient individual packs that you can put in your bag or pocket, add to water, juice, or simply open the pack and pop it in your mouth and then wash it down with a sip of your beverage of choice.

Many places offer probiotic kombucha drinks, and in virtually every country you can find yogurt or sauerkraut, which are also full of live healthy bacteria for your gut flora. Our gut is what regulates our immune system, so implementing as many probiotics as possible is a great way to prevent anything dodgy from causing you problems.

Health While You Travel: Benefits of Dry Skin Brushing To Keep You In Your Best Shape For Adventuring

Travel, adventure and being awesome, are so much easier and more natural to do when your health is in top form. If you don’t take care of number one and make solid investments in your health and well being, you won’t be able to enjoy your adventuring to the fullest. Whether you are abroad, or at home setting time aside for self care is a priceless way to keep your health at it’s best right now, and as a prevention measure for  the future.

Just because you are away from home on an adventure or a trip, doesn’t mean you also should leave your daily health and self care rituals behind there too. I always do my utmost to keep on my self care regime no matter where I am, so that way I don’t have to work harder when I return home to simply repair and get myself back to where I was before I left.

You can get one with either a long handle or no handle depending on what your packing needs are. Here is a great one that I love.

I make it a point to dry brush at least once a day, and at times twice a day, right before I get in the shower. I start at my feet and make long smooth upward stroked always towards the heart. By going towards the heart you push all the fluids upwards where they drain.

On your stomach you can do some clockwise circles and then upward strokes towards your heart. You can also do the circular motions in your armpits and then towards your heart. When you are at your collar bone you can start at the back of your shoulder and stroke around to the front, and then down your chest towards your heart. Easy peasy, and so rewarding. I also give my dry brush a good washing with some natural soap once a week to get rid of all the dead skin and dirt.
